PRE-SERVERS explores the role that art can acquire to expand its self-determination and financial independence. PRE-SERVERS embodies the company whose product has no economic value. We have built up a network in and around Freiburg that gives us access to surpluses from food production. Within the framework of SPOTS&DOTS, we performed the canning of the collected material. With this work we assert values that primarily serve survival and are increasingly important in the wake of climate change, energy and economic collapse.
