ABOUT
Zagreb/St. Gallen consists of two parts.
In the upper part of the exhibition, square plasterboard panels were
on the floor. In the back part, two plates of plaster were hung on which the sea and the sky were drawn with a water-based felt-pen. The plaster absorbs the water of the pencil and let the image slowly disappear over weeks. In order to reach the back floor, visitors had to walk over the plaster boards.
In the lower part of the exhibition, different works were on display
which thematically revolved around the theme of leaving and coming home. This work is autobiographical in origin and was a personal confrontation with my move to Croatia, Zagreb and also to transport my work which was created in Zagreb back to St.Gallen.
