creative activity as
a silent revolution.
For this work, I was inspired by Pierre Rabhis
Vers "glückliche Genügsamkeit".
"the most mature, the most beautiful achievement of mankind today is to respond to its vital needs with the simplest and most reasonable means. To cultivate one's garden or to devote oneself to an independent creative activity will be understood as a political act, an act of legitimate resistance to human dependency and subjugation."
Using this notion as inspiration, I took my bike,
my necessary belongings, my wonderful watercolor box, and some paper, and went for
a trip to Sardinia.
Most of these watercolors were created in the summer of 2017 in Sardinia, Campliun, and Zurich.
