what shatters remembers

Postcards are mostly used to commemorate places of interest. In the case of Re-Member, the viewer is asked to remove a postcard from the stand. However, these are not made of robust paper, but of highly fragile gypsum. As soon as you have one in your hands, it breaks. The pieces of broken glass collect on the bench and can then be rearranged; reassembled as mosaic-like elements.
